About Us
 Artworks was established in 1986 as a gallery and custom picture framing business with the purpose of selling Lotus' art to the public. All art needs a great presentation, so opening this type of business allowed Lotus to frame her original art appropriately. Having a storefront location encouraged the public to view her works in a friendly environment. Lotus’ art reflects her surroundings as well as her travels, and she has limited edition prints of several of her paintings, which can be purchased at Artworks, as well as other art galleries and gift shops throughout the state. Once Artworks opened for business, Lotus decided to expand her art inventory with prints by national, regional and other local artists. Over time, Artworks has grown into not only an art gallery, but also a gift shop - encompassing such items as hand-made puppets, pottery, sculptures, stained glass, jewelry and much more.
Artworks is constantly expanding its custom framing repertoire, incorporating creative presentation techniques, while also utilizing conservation practices. We offer shadowbox framing, hand painted frames, embellished matting, as well as restoration of paintings and frames.
